Tea Cocktails - A Healthy Way to Get Your Drink On?

Tea Cocktails - Once tea as a beverage started becoming very popular in the US in the late 1990s, people started inventing cocktails with tea as an ingredient.

I have included a few here, but only the ones that use readily available teas. Some of the more snobby cocktails use exotic teas that are nearly impossible to find, so I have tried to keep it simple.

Royal Tea Cocktail Recipe from Beefeater Gin

One of the films nominated for the 2007 Academy Awards was "The Queen" and Beefeater Gin created this cocktail in honor of the movie. Royal-Tea is an easy chilled tea drink with an unbelievably clean taste.

Ceylon black tea-based Earl Grey, is served at all Her Majesty's Garden Parties and the hint of bergamot and the lime, make for a refreshing citrusy infusion, a perfect tea cocktail for a warm evening get-together.

Sparkling Cranberry Tea

Combine the ingredients through step one and chill; stir in the ginger ale just before serving. Serve in goblets, highball glasses, or any pretty clear glasses to show off the concoction's yuletide-red hue.
