White Tea White Tea White Tea

White Tea Benefits? Yes....

White Tea Benefits? The Chinese have enjoyed white tea for hundreds and hundreds of years, but only recently has the rest of the world become aware of this secret brew.

And it is expensive. But Why?

It is the least processed form of tea, made of the tiny new buds and select new leaves which have been steamed and then carefully dried.

It contains more beneficial nutrients than its much more-processed black, and less-processed green cousins, making it the absolute best of the teas.

It is attractive to look at and has a very pleasant flavor.

It gets its name from the little white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, and is delicate and slightly sweet, like the very best of champagnes.

It has far less caffeine than any other tea, so do not waste your money purchasing White decaffeinated tea.

White Tea Health Benefits

As with many other green teas White tea offers many health benefits and these tend to be improved due to being the choice leaves.

Some of the health benefits include:

- cancer prevention due to the tea plant containing Flavonoids, they tend to have increased Antioxidant activity.

- lower blood pressure, therefore decreasing the chance of stroke

- antioxidants from White tea help to reduce the chances of getting the common cold and other sicknesses.

As with anything that you eat or drink don't over consume, but replacing soft drinks or coffee drinking with White or Green teas two or three times a day, should definately be better for your health.
